Our School Aims & Mission Statement
At Margaret Roper School we aim to:
-
Encourage, illuminate and assist children on their faith-journey through life;
-
Provide a happy, stimulating, caring environment in which children can fully realize their potential;
-
Develop the knowledge, skills and understanding for our children in order that they value themselves and make their way in society as faithful children of the Church.
-
Encourage awareness of our multi-racial society and promote positive relationships, harmony and understanding amongst all peoples.
The school is one form entry organized in traditional class based units and the children are arranged according to mixed ability within a year group structure. Progression from class to class is mainly on an age basis although account has to be taken of the individual needs of a child.
Children’s Mission Statement
Margaret Roper Primary School is where kindness and friendship are shown in every way. We are a Catholic school and believe and follow Jesus Christ in whatever we do.
We are a caring school with manners, courtesy and concern for everyone. We want to improve our knowledge and understanding of every subject.
We also understand the importance of charity and will always do what we can to help others.
